Home…

I am a home body. Late last night, my Miss drove Tay and I back to the barn. I’ve never smelled the barn the way Pete does at the end of a long ride, but I did last night at 12:45am. My body was exhausted from being away from it’s beddie for 14 consecutive nights, sleeping in six different beds in between and traveling from home to KC, Chicago, London, Gleneagles, St. Andrews, London, Vienna, Hallstatt, Vienna, London, Chicago, and back to blessed Cbus again. I am home.

Today, Miss and I are getting ready to get reacquainted. I’ve got lots to tell her about our three sons. I loved this memorable trip and it’s gonna become a “Fore Scott’s” tradition. I love being with my three sons as one of them, not above them. I love being with my bride and can’t imagine wanting to be anywhere else but here. Today, we’re sipping coffee and talking. I’m on cup number two as she pours cup one. I hope you love to travel, I hope you love to return, I hope you love the in between, I hope you love being with, I hope you have a home, and I hope you have somebody to hold. I am a home body.

I am home. Good…
