Today, during practice 22 with a team just beginning to play ball, we finished practice off with the challenge around emotions. Emotions, you know, are contagious. The best teams have leaders who are thermostats, not thermometers. In other words, they have leaders who regulate the emotion in the room. They know what the room needs to light it up, and they react accordingly. They know what the room needs to calm it down, and their presence does just that.
