You are not the names others call you. Fact. Take a look at your “I am’s,” and give them a hard rinse from deep within your worldview. Rid your mind of the negative names that came from others or from you listening to your untrained, negative, little voice. Change the channel. Go up a level and listen to your core.
I am. I can. I will. I do.
Repeat your deepest held beliefs in the form of a positive identity. Rinse and repeat until it’s squeaky clean. You and I tend to play the negative tape on repeat and forget the positives when put under pressure. Normal. We are all filled with fears and fueled with love. Focus on the later without forgetting the former. Live hard. Love harder. What comes out of you and I under pressure only reveals what’s been inside all the time. I am. I can. I will. I do. And, don’t forget to finish these mantras with a baby step of productive action. We change the channel, remember, so we can level up. We level up by doing. We level up by doing more than we think. I am. I can. I will. I do more than I think.
Want to become more of who God created you to be? Want to become more of a force on the field of play, mat, court, office, home, or wherever is your aim? Do more. Remember, my mantras are “keep working and live hard, love harder.” These words settle me in the storm. Once my mind is calmed, I remind myself who I am. I focus on what I can control, tell myself en brera (no alternative) which is my will, and then I pick an action and I do it. And then another action. I get through the current iteration and then reach for another target. I’ve become a believer by doing more than I think and I think a lot, friends. I am. I can. I will. I do. Do more than you think. Masters do more than they think. Do you?
Do more. Good…
