Isn’t Christmas time wonderful? It truly is. Funny, parents telling their kids that Santa does not exist. Whole lot of presents under the tree from “Santa” for him not to exist.
Of course, the great power and mystery of all the universe is found within the Christmas story.
Many of you are familiar with Handel’s Messiah. Handel’s Messiah is one of the most incredible works of any kind ever produced.
Several years ago, for Christmas my wife and I watched Handel’s Messiah on YouTube with the lyrics printed out so we could follow along. It was masterful. A truly spiritual experience.
We followed that up the following year by attending a live performance of Messiah.
It was by far the most incredible live performance of any event – sports or otherwise – that I have ever witnessed.
Spellbinding.
Christmas time is a wonderful time of the year.
