You don’t get your leaders attention by being nice. You get it by performing well.
Once you’re performing well, you’ve earned the right to be kind to your leader and give them information, not just affirmation. You can stop puckering up, as I told a big, strong, kind man earlier this week in a very direct way.
BTL leaders listen to performers. And, they still need your help in hearing what you’re really trying to say. Stop dancing. Be ccd. Demand their attention with shoot in your eyes. You won’t always get what you want. You will get what you need. You will be heard. Remember this truth.
