Better team…

Yesterday, the better team did not win. Auburn took down my beloved Buckeye’s on a fortunate goal of their own and a couple cross bar close calls for the Buckeyes. The refs also missed a hand ball in the box and all of this while playing short handed due to early season injuries. Soccer is not fair. Life? Not even close.

So, friend, preload how you want to respond before adversity strikes. Anticipate cheap shots. Expect refs to suck. Understand crossbars are not your friends. Take care of your keeper and never stop your relentless effort. These Buckeyes played a worthy opponent and they played really well. Outplayed them, in fact. The better team doesn’t always win. The best teams, however, respond better.
