Never stop the work within. Never. A long term client of mine took a few years off CORE work. Was going through the shit and decided the best way forward was just to go through it. Got busy. Got shit done. Got through lots of it in the process. Then, the age old problem of humanity, resurfaced.
What’s the point?
Without purpose and meaning we lose our way on the “do do” trail. Instead of gaining energy and clarity on this climb to nowhere, we lose our way. We step in more of it. We stop climbing with a passion when no purpose is inherent in the process. This is when we all need a mirror. A truth teller who never gives up or in. We all lose our way on the way to becoming and belonging. None of us is designed to go it alone. So, this dude is back on the trail. The trial is not the problem. Not knowing it’s the trail is.
Are you committed to CORE work within daily? Are you dreaming and doing fueled by an authentic OPUS of your defining? Are you awake and oriented times four? Sleep walking through life is not the one you want, friend. Wake up. Get up. Never give up.
A balanced life is not the one you want. Integrate. Figure it out. I’m in Berlin with grandbaby and family. Another grandbaby is soon to arrive from KC. I’m full gas being grandpa and finding time to talk to a few family, friends, and clients too. It’s all OPUS. It all brings purpose and meaning to this attempt at a life well lived. It all makes sense to me, especially those moments that make no cents. Damn.
