Wisdom…

I am blessed to have a kind and wise Mom. Recently she wrote me a couple quotes. Here’s one from her favorite book – “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12. Next she laid a little William Cowper (dead English poet) on me. “Knowledge is proud that it knows so much, wisdom is humble that it knows not more.”

Lets take my Mom’s challenge and, humbly, make the most of our time. May we practice gratitude. May we learn from each other. May we enjoy the best in each other and tenderly tame the beast. May we love deeply and forgive quickly. God, help us all as we imperfectly help our few. Thanks, Mom, for leading me so lovingly . Thanks for tolerating me standing up in my high chair, barking out orders, and being so hard to rein in. Thanks for believing in me. Thanks to all you believers in BTL for all your support, encouragement, and ever deepening trust. Thanks, Miss, for reminding me how fortunate I am and helping me learn to speak less and say more. Thank you. Thank you, all.
